Hi there, my name’s Hanna. I’m from Seattle, and now currently live in LA. Based on this, you might roll your eyes when I tell you I’m a firm believer in plant-based diets.

I love occasionally binging on Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream, or grabbing cheese fries from in-and-out with friends on late night runs. I don’t like to label myself as vegan or vegetarian, however being lactose intolerant and not particularly liking meat has made it easy for me to follow a more plant-based diet. If wasn’t until watching “What the Health,” a documentary about the dairy and meat industry, that I was truly informed on the actual impacts of animal food. I wanted to create this page as a result, to inform other what I have learned, and inspire others to not necessarily become full vegan, but to really think about what they are eating and the impacts the industry has on the body, culture, economy, and world.

My aim is to cumulate research on meat and dairy products on the body, as well as providing some easy changes anyone can make to become more environmentally friendly, all based on the documentary.

Even if you don’t want to be fully plant-based or vegan, I think everyone should be wary of the meat and dairy they consume for not only their health, but for sustainability. Even a small change can help. Clip over the different sections featured to learn more!
